Educational activity of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry covers the field of analytical chemistry, instrumental methods, industrial waters and wastewaters of textile industry.
Scientific work of this working group is performed applying different classical and instrumental physical and chemical methods with the goal of characterisation of inorganic and organic compounds in textile materials, textile auxiliaries and textile industry wastewaters. Mathematical modelling is being applied in order to develop models for signal separation which enables quantitative separation of compounds from their mixtures. Those analyses include validation of analytical methods with the analysis of the each individual parameter of analytical procedure, as well as their impact on the information obtained. The parameters of analytical procedures are determined also for the restoration of historical textiles applying destructive and non destructive analytical procedures. Scientific activity covers the cooperation with the scientists and restorators from home and international institutes.
