This research direction has been confirmed within mapping of scientific research and innovation potential of Faculty which is performed in the framework of IPA project BISTEC (BISTEC – Building innovation support through efficient cooperation network, coordinated by University of Zagreb: April 2013 – March 2015).
As the Faculty is involved, besides the investigations in textile technology, in the research in natural and social sciences, humanities and arts, which can also fit in the topics defined in the EU programme framework of research and innovations Horizon 2020. The following topics have been thus included in the Research strategy of Faculty: Excellence in science, Industrial leadership and Social challenges.
