Subject content Lectures: Visual equilibrium in fine arts, kinds of visual balanced quality in clothing design, deviation from the ideal proportions of male and female body, visual corrections of the figure of male and female body with the aid of clothing and accessories, application of the method of shifting transversal planes within the cut and clothing sample, visual corrections of clothing based on vertical orientation lines and visual corrections based on too short or too high stature and fuller figure. Exercises: Projects of the collection related to the problems of visual figure and cut modelling according to the personal choice, by hand o by computer. Exercises are related to the exercises of the course Computer clothing design II and Fashion illustration for making a clothing catalogue.
Aim of course Students familiarize themselves with the problems of clothing design for a customer who does not have standard ready-made measurements on the market. By means of the afore-mentioned methods of visual figure corrections a colleciton for a customer of too high or too short a growth and a fuller figure is created. This means that each obstacle on the body makes the designer create new clothing designs. The student processes them in the graphical workstation for textile and clothing design based on the course: Fashion illustration creates a market catalogue.
