Subject content Lectures: Bodily structure of the human body and constitution: leptosomic, fibrous, picnic. Types of human stature: short, normal, medium, high, markedly high. Growth and development of the child. These are basic contents for the so-called scarce clothing collection program in high demand on the market. Exercises: Clothing design for fuller persons based on the rules of visual body correction with the aid of clothing, clothing design for a markedly high figure and markedly short figure, and especially the program for pregnant women (maternity wear), collection according to growth and development for the children's program. Cut modelling by hand and by computer, creation of a clothing collection catalogue at the computer.
Aim of course The students are qualified for the creation of collections of individual bodily constitutions, program of children's clothing for various statures, and program for pregnant women. In the last term of the graduate study the students deal with problems of clothing design for special programs outside season collections. On the basis of knowledge of visual equilibrium correction, shift of transverse planes within the clothing and design, and based on orientation lines from medicine, rules are established that facilitate visual figure correction and better range of offers for the market.
