Subject content Basics of Contemporary Art; Modern and Contemporary Art; Historical Avantgarde: diachronical relationship to History; Art and Life; Abstraction, Composition, Deconstruction of figurativeness; Happening in Contemporary Art; Instalation and problem od space; Constructivism and the limits of image; Artwork, event and new media; Performance in the Arts; From Bauhaus to pop-design; Conceptual Art; The Age of the End of Styles; Postmodernism as revision of modern Art? - painting, cyber-art, multimedial Art.
Aim of course The course examines the close connection between aesthetics of contemporary art and the History of art in modern and postmodern age. The attention is particularly to understanding how is possible to realise contemporary fashion and fashion design in the area of contemporary art. Students has to apply the general and most comprehensive way of creative thinking from the history of artistic movements in the sixtiees to nowadays. Interactive knowledge and experience in topics has to be studied included cooperation between theoreticians, contemporary artists and curators is the guarantee for the integration of everyday life practices and theory in the structure of contemporary art design.
