Subject content Classification of analytical methods. Analytical parameters. Calibration. Spectrometric methods. Molecular absorption spectroscopy. Molecular fluorescence spectroscopy. Atomic spectrometric methods based on UV/VIS radiation (absorption, emission). Instrumentation. Applications. Electroanalytical methods. Potentiometry. Voltametry. Conductometry. Electrogravimetriy. Instrumentation and applications. Separation methods. Chromatography. General aspects and classification. Instrumentation and application. Comparison of analytical methods. Some sample preparation methods. Instrumental method and techniques in characterisation of textile materials, auxiliaries and textile wastewaters.
Aim of course After taking courses in Analytical chemistry and passing the exam in Instrumental methods students will gain a proper knowledge of theoretical principles and practical application of most common instrumental methods of analysis: spectrometric, electrochemical and chromatographic with application in processes of textile industry. Students will learn a fundamental techniques of environmental analytical chemistry. Knowledge of instrumental methods of analysis is a fundamental for further scientific work.
