Subject content Students learn to draw basic fashion silhouettes and professional flat sketches in order to create and communicate original Ready -to-wear design concepts using materials. Extensive drawing from the model to develop understanding of garment; examine drapability of fabric and its effect on the variety of silhouettes and styles using non-elastic woven and unwoven fabrics. Continouing the study of silhouettes using draping methods for better understanding role of darts in getting new shapes and fashion silhouettes. Developing basic design using different fabrics.
Aim of course This Course is designed to give necessary experience and confidence to practice within international fashion industry at a high level. Creative design exploration of original designs based on silhouette studies, pattern studies, draping research and graphic work.
