Subject content History of clothing since the Middle Ages till 19th century. Clothing is viewed within a context of historical and social events and arts in specific historical periods: the Middle Ages, renaissance, mannerism, baroque, rococo, in order to establish shared stylistic features. Clothing is considered as a complex work of art, therefore the focus is on the analysis of all components, their shapes, characteristics, and interrelationship
Aim of course The analytical approach allowes the student to evolve the ability of expression and dressing of period. Encouraging on consideration of clothing like a segment of life and helping us to understood the different periods. This brings us to new solutions
