Subject content Development of spinning and weaving. First fibers and basic techniques of weaving.Improvement of textile production: the first historical civilisation. Silk and the roads of silk. Learning about the textile products and interferences of culture:Byzantines and Middle Age. Prosperity of greate textile center: renaisance. Apparation of lace. Development of technics until baroque to the 19 th century.Cotton and new materials.
Aim of course With historical approach textils, student create awareness about place, role and importance of textiles products.
