Subject content Contemporary methods of making-up of technical textile. Methods of dry laminating. Methods of ultrasonic laminating. Overview of methods of cutting technical textile. Methods of thermal and laser cutting. Cutting with rotary disc. Method of ultrasonic cutting. Methods of joining technical textile. New kinds and treatment of sewing thread. Machine sewing needles, surface treatments, needle points and shapes. Technical textile sewing machines. Sewing robots. New types of special machines for thermal and ultrasonic joining of technical textile. Convection and conduction joining. Use of high-frequency electromagnetic fields for joining technical textile. Process parameters of making-up of technical textile.
Aim of course The student acquires the knowledge necessary for the efficient application of various techniques and machines for making up of technical textile.
