Subject content 
Definitions and classifications of flexible manufacturing systems. Stochastic processes. The term process. Poisson process. Markov processes. Transition probabilities. Matrix of transition probabilities. Fractals as an example of Markov lancau possibility of their application in the design. Mathematical models. Dynamic and static characteristics of the system. Linear and nonlinear systems. Algorithms for control of flexible manufacturing systems. Connecting a digital computer with a measuring device process. Hardware standards. Drivers for instrumentation. Fuzzy (fuzzy) control, neural networks, selflearning management systems, expert systems. Fuzzy logic, fuzzy sets, membership function, fuzzy operations. Fuzzy sets in management systems. Examples from the field of textile technology. 
Aim of course 
Student will learn about different process description approaches and its implementation, restrictions and advantages considering textile technology applications.
