Subject content The concept od semiotics and visual communicagtions; Cultural systems and interpretations of image; Signifier and significant; Cognitive and perceptive culture of fashion design; Fashion Language and semiotics in the construction of image message; Semiotics and visual culture in digital age.
Aim of course The course examines scientifical knowledge and contemporary investigations betweeen semiotics and visual communications at the level of contemporary fashion. The key intention is to the role of media in fashion design. The course develop the cognitive skills and knowledge in reconsideration of semiotics system in the culture as fashion system and also as visual culture in our global age.
