CEEPUS CIII-SI-0217-05-1112 je mreža, u okviru koje se temeljem programa izvodi razmjena profesora i studenata sa svrhom znanstvenog, stručnog i nastavnog usavršavanja s fakultetima: Maribor (Slovenija), Bratislava (Slovačka), Lodz (Poljska), Hradec Kralove (Češka), Skopje (Makedonija), Banja Luka (Bosna i Hercegovina), Sarajevo (Bosna i Hercegovina) i Liberec (Češka).
CIII-SI-0217-05-1112 - Fashion Communication - Design and Development of Multifunctional Products
Academic year 2011/2012
Planned mobility actions:
Within the network untitled Fashion Communication - Design and Development of Multifunctional Products, both students and teachers mobility will be realized, as follows:
a) for regular students as effective scholarship months (one semester), with the mutual recognition of ECTS/ECTS compatible system as it was done previously.
b) For short term students:
Preparation and/or research work for the final diploma as well as outline scheme designed to the research activities within “Design and Development of Multifunctional Products" study tasks.
Postgraduate students (PhD and/or Master) whose period of the study abroad will serve the purpose of targeted research towards their thesis.
Actual topics within study tasks (like e.g. types of multifunctional products, ways of function, special requirements on protective multifunctional cloth, materials, finishes, comfort, etc), will be previously worked out between two supervision (one at the home university and one from the host university. Such kind of collaborations has already been proved in previous “old networks” as rightful, witness with several Ph.D. or M.Sc. Thesis that were done by CEEPUS students and their host mentors.
Each participant (students and professors) will prepare a paper (professional, scientific or simple view on mobility) that will be published in students’ journal as joint effort of CEEPUS applicant to promote CEEPUS program, our network and students mobility.
c) Planned teacher’ mobility actions, included in "Traffic Sheet - Networks" will include the methodological lecture (workload: 6 teaching hours a week) and the supervision role (doctoral or master thesis) of research work in the area of Design and Development of Multifunctional products, based on experience gained in previous years within old networks.
Furthermore the special attention will be dedicated to Joint PhD program. Namely, the long time cooperation of textile oriented Faculties within this network has raise the idea of joint PhD program that might present a step forward in textile education through its possibility to be adaptive and in a way a kind of quick response to the need of EU employees. One of the attempts for the following year will be establishment of the curriculum for joint PhD program study between University of Maribor, University of Zagreb and University of Lodz for which is planed to cover field of multifunctional products and/or intelligent clothing (design, development, manufacture, materials etc.) in order to assure quality stuff that will be able to respond on growing demands in this highly sophisticated field of textile.

Student mobility
|
Students will be chosen on the basis of: - achieved study success (more successful students will have higher priority), - level of study (higher level will be advantage), - graduate students and postgraduate students or students, who are preparing their master dissertation will have priority, - good knowledge of English as experience with scientific projects is mandatory. Respecting network-recommendations approx. 75 % of mobility will be student mobility.

Short Term Student mobility
|
PhD students will be chosen on the basis of their work (doctoral thesis), if it is related to the joint project activities and joint thesis supervision (one at the home university and one from the host university). For Short term student mobility 15 % of traffic will be planned.

Teacher mobility
|
The selection criteria for teacher mobility will be as follows: - high quality of scientific and technical works, - international recognition, - active lecture (approx. 6 hours per week) - active involvement in joint project. For teacher mobility 11 % of traffic will be planned.
