International textile manufacturing and marketing organizations need engineers who understand today's global economy. The Faculty of Textile Technology has developed this module to provide a truly global educational experience for industrial engineers and executives. Graduates will gain a unique educational background that will prepare them to play important leadership roles in textile ? the world?s largest manufacturing industry. The program focuses on textile, engineering and the business environment, as well as marketing and management. Through the textile component students explore technological developments, production, operations management and textile product development. In business environment component, students learn about intercultural management, ecological aspects of textiles, information system management, and international economics and financing. The third component focuses on the marketing and management issues specific to the textile complex. Students will be able and encouraged to choose additional optional courses from other modules taught at the Faculty and University.
