International Relation Office (IRO TTF)

University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology (FTT) is an internationally recognized educational and scientific institution in the field of textile engineering, technology and fashion design, with significant involvement in all segments of international activities, thus contributing to the University's strategic goal of internationalization.

The International Relation Office of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology (IRO TTF) was established on 4 June 2007 by the Faculty Council. The key role of the Office is the continued growth and development of FTT's international cooperation and activities through the exchange of students, teaching and non-teaching staff; through cooperation on research projects with many institutions in Europe and worldwide; and through cooperation with scientific and other institutions and professional associations, all with the aim of increasing competences in teaching and scientific/artistic research and innovation.

FTT continues to hold a leading position in the region through continuous cooperation with related institutions within the European Research Area (ERA) and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), of which is an equal stakeholder, as well as a member of numerous international associations (AUTEX, DAAAM, IFKT, ICTC, ISO, AATCC).

Mobility on the FTT is mainly carried out through the ERASMUS + program (since 2009) through contracts with 31 institutions from 16 countries and through the CEEPUS program (since 1996) through a network of 14 members from 9 countries, as well as through other forms of mobility (bilateral mobility, academic mobility) with a positive trend. It is important to highlight the long-standing cooperation regarding participation in teaching (at higher levels of study) by distinguished foreign teachers, as well as numerous memberships in committees and dual mentorships for a doctoral thesis. For many years, FTT is an organizer of the International Scientific Conference ITC&DC (since 2002) and the Scientific Conference TZG (since 2008), bringing together eminent international experts and presenting the latest scientific and professional achievements.
