PUBLIC CALL FOR ADMISSION to enrol students in the academic year 2020./2021. in the Postgraduate doctoral study program TEXTILE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY to obtain the academic degree of PhD.

Candidates who have completed graduate study with a Grade point average (GPA) of 3.51 can apply for the postgraduate university study TEXTILE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. Admission for the candidates with a lower GPA is possible with a recommendation letter from two professors from the alma mater. Applicants who have completed a university or other related undergraduate degree in Croatia, or a graduate or undergraduate study abroad can enrol the postgraduate study programme in accordance with the Statute of the University of Zagreb, and according to the conditions of entry to the postgraduate study Textile Science and Technology.

The postgraduate doctoral study lasts for six (6) semesters. The expenses of the study programme in the academic year 2020./2021. are 7.000,00 (seven thousand) kuna per semester. If the study is funded by a company or an institution, the applicant will be required to submit a document verifying the settlement of expenses.

Candidates are required to submit their applications on prescribed application forms available on the website of the Faculty and the Student administration office, accompanied by a certified copy of the diploma, transcript of records, proof of citizenship, birth certificate, CV and a motivation letter. An interview with the applicant is a mandatory part of the enrolment process. The applicants will also be required to prove sufficient linguistic competences in one world language, thus proving their ability to take courses in the respective language if necessary.
