 Research activity

• As author, costume (and set) designer and visual artist participated in more than a hundred artistic projects in Croatia and abroad (Slovenia, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia).

• Since 1990 continuously worked in almost every Croatian theatre (HNK Zagreb, HNK Split, HNK Osijek, HNK Varaždin, GK Kerempuh, GK Histrion, GK Komedija, GK Trešnja, ZKM, Kazalište Marina Držića Dubrovnik, GK Virovitica, GK Požega, GK Žar Ptica, etc.) as author of numerous costume and several set designs.

• Since 1986 participated in 23 individual and 9 group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad (Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia).

• Founder of ULUPUHs edition dedicated to well-known Croatian set and costume designers such as Ruta Knežević, Drago Turina, Ika Škomrlj, 100 year of Croatian Set and Costume design and Form costume to costume design.

• Co-author and editor of numerous publications on costume and set design.

• Author and initiator of many representative projects dedicated to costume and set design.

• Listed as costume designer in several books about Croatian theatre history: 100 year of Croatian set and costume design 1909.-2009, ULUPUH 2011, From costume to costume design, ULUPUH, Zagreb 2015, Repertoire of Croatian theatres, Globus, JAZU, Zagreb 1990, Varaždin theatre centuries, HNK Varaždin, Tiva, Varaždin 2007, as well as in monographs of city theatres Trešnja (1999), Teatar u gostima (2004) and Kerempuh (2014).

• Author and initiator of several project, the most important of them being 100 years of set and costume design (1909-2009) (HDLU, Foaje HNK, Galerija ULUPUH, ULUPUH, Zagreb, 2009.-2010.)

• Author and curator of the exhibition A Hundred Years of Croatian Set Design and Costume Design: Children\'s theatre, puppets, performances..., Muzej Mimara and Galerija ULUPUH, Zagreb, 2012.

• Author of exhibition concept for presentation of Croatian set and costume designers in Prag Quadrennial 2007.

• As head of ULUPUH s Theatre, Film and Television Department founded the biennial exhibition entitled Contemporary theatre and film art scene held continuously since 2003.

Projects (chief researcher)

Author and curator of the exhibition A Hundred Years of Croatian Set Design and Costume Design: Children's theatre, puppets, performances..., Muzej Mimara and Galerija ULUPUH, Zagreb, 2012. The artistic project of researching theatrically and visually relevant works of applied art (set designers, costume designers, puppeteers and performance artists; curator, author of text published in the catalogue, selection of illustrations, editor of the catalogue, collaboration with the author of the exhibition layout, realization of the exhibition in two parts (Muzej Mimara, Galerija ULUPUH).

Author and initiator of the project A Hundred Years of Croatian Set Design and Costume Design 1909 – 2009 which had 5 parts (exhibitions and round table about the status of set and costume design professions), held in HDLU, Foaje HNK, Galerija ULUPUH, ULUPUH, Zagreb, 2009.-2010. (the exhibition was presented in Sarajevo, Ljubljana and Pečuh). As project leader invited eminent theatre scholars Ana Lederer (set design) and Martina Petranović (costume design) to select works for the central exhibition, while the rest of the projects were organized and curated by her alone.

Along with her professional artistic and teaching activities, working in ULUPUH and in various boards founded by the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association and Ministry of Culture, the Republic of Croatia, invests a lot of time and energy into strengthening, affirmation and protection of professions such as costume designer, set designer, light designer, as well as all other related professions.
