• 2019 - she started earned her PhD degree in the field of fashion design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana; the doctoral thesis titled Clothing and the Language of Fashion in Contemporary Art, mentor - prof. Nadja Zgonik

 Acknowledgments and rewards

• For her artistic and pedagogic work, Jasminka Končić was awarded a number of times: in 2009 for her artistic work with a Dean\'s Award for Young Artists, in 2002 and 2003 with a recognition for promoting children\'s artistic creation at the exhibition Čovjek čovjeku (From One Man to Another) sponsored by the youth magazine Modra Lasta and in 1997 with a special recognition by the jury of the young fashion designers competition Fashion News in Rijeka and in Opatija.
