 Area of special research interest

  • Field of dyeing, printing, color science, color metrics, application of fuzzy logic to \"CMP\" operations, study of mathematical models for color difference evaluation and systems based on Kubelka – Munk theory.
  • Textile printing: possibility of applying digital printing on textile surfaces, research of fabric pretreatment methods, study of rheological properties of printing pastes and thickeners for textiles and their possible application in digital printing technology.
  • Textile dyeing and printing: Analyze and definition of optimal parameters relevant for camouflage colour and patterns characteristic testing, in UV-VIS and IR spectral area.
  • Colour science: applicability of color difference evaluation systems CIE 94, CMC(l:c), BFD(l:c) and CIEDE2000, with accent on research of modifications on parts for lightness difference evaluation as one of basic color parameter.
  • Colour science: application of fuzzy logic in processes of color matching in dependence on surface – structure parameters of textiles.
  • Colour science: analyze of specific hues in achromatic and chromatic – achromatic area and perform the evaluation of applicability of mathematical models which are usually used in colour parameters and colour differences evaluation, in this specific and problematic area of color space.
  • Colour psychology: research of energetic relations among colors, contrasts and lows of harmonies, as well as influences of specific relations among colors on observers reaction.
