U okviru projekta Internacionalizacija doktorskog studija Tekstilna znanost i tehnologija izv. prof. dr. sc. Edit Csanák sa Sveučilišta Óbuda, fakultet Rejtő Sándor iz Budimpešte održati će predavanje pod naslovom Eco-design and Sustainability in Fashion: Challenges, Applications and Tools for Textile Industry.

Abstract

Eco-design and Sustainability in Fashion: Challenges, Applications, and Tools for Textile Industry (Lectures I-II)
The lecture deals with the textile and fashion design aspects of eco-design. After introducing the milestones and short history of the sustainability movement in Fashion, it presents the idea of “Going green!” and the green revolution in Fashion, along with the critical challenges that the industry faces today. It presents the most particular literature and “Must-readings” of Sustainability in Textiles and Fashion. Furthermore, it introduces the fundaments of the Circular Economy applied to Textile Industry, and use of the C2C principle in Fashion. It analyses the meaning of eco-design by the introduction of the main concepts and guidelines.
The second part of the lecture deals with areas and specific problems of eco-design, such as the meaning of eco-attitude in making Fashion. It introduces the current “State-of-Art” of Sustainable Fashion, along with its most prominent representatives, organizations, projects & collaborations. Analysing the Garment Supply Chain gives insight into the current methodology, and principles used in the PLM process of the fashion collections. Finally, the lecture introduces some of the CAD and PLM systems, applications and tools used in the modern textile science and technology.

Edit Csanák je modna dizajnerica. Priznata je teoretičarka za održivu modu i održivo upravljanje lancem opskrbe tekstilom; također je poznata po svom radu u modnom brendiranju i dizajniranju identiteta, najpoznatija je po dizajnu denima. Dr. Edit Csanák radi kao izvanredna profesorica na Sveučilištu Óbuda u Budimpešti. Predaje modni dizajn, dizajn sezonske kolekcije, teoriju dizajna, vizualnu komunikaciju i crtanje, vodi diplomske radove. Prodekanica je fakulteta Rejtő Sándor i voditeljica Instituta za dizajn proizvoda.
