Abstract:

The SHOEPRO project is an Erasmus+ project whose objectives relate to innovation and creativity in the education and training of target groups in the footwear sector. The project objectives are to develop innovative and flexible short training and education programs for different target groups in Croatia and Portugal and to design programs for the training and retraining of workers and young people in the footwear industry that meet the needs of companies and address issues related to the green and digital transformation of the footwear sector. The project will train teachers, trainers and mentors in companies in the application of green and digital skills, introduce new content and the use of new training tools and new learning methodologies to increase the efficiency of the learning process and involve young people in the sector. The project will strengthen the links between vocational, higher education and business institutions in Croatia and Portugal. The activities carried out under the project will contribute to strengthening the education sector and training opportunities for workers in the footwear industry, with the aim of implementing the green and digital transformation in companies.
