International staff mobility

The mobility of university teachers is a very important aspect of the internationalization of the University of Zagreb and covers various aspects of international activities.

University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology International Relations Office (IRO FTT) provides organizational support to mobile university teachers who work with colleagues at partner universities in the field of higher education.

Mobility is based on bilateral agreements with partner universities. It usually includes shorter stays abroad within the agreed quotas for each calendar year. The University of Zagreb encourages its staff to participate in teaching at foreign universities as part of the exchange, and to make use of their residency in the form of arrangements for improving teaching at all levels of study. Mobility is also encouraged for the purpose of learning and professional development at all levels of action.

Exchange can be made on the basis of existing contacts or the International Relation Office can help finding academic partners in foreign universities.

Records of international cooperation

The Records of international cooperation of the University of Zagreb are conceived as a central place for storing information on all forms of international co-operation of the University of Zagreb, which are scattered according to individual local records of its members. This applies to all mobility within the framework of bilateral agreements, projects and programs of the European Union or other projects and programs.

The data are entered into the Records by the University staff themselves, continuously throughout the year, thus keeping the database up-to-date. Supervision of the database is provided by the International Relation Office of the University of Zagreb, which corrects the records and communicates with the University staff in order to provide as reliable information as possible.
