Subject content Exploring basic aspects of fashion accessories design. Drawing and analyzing headgears, handbags and footwears. Extensive drawing from the model to understand formal and functional components. Emphasizing use of pattern technigues on design and construction of shoes, hats and handbags. Research and testing new forms in alternative materials. Exploring and testing new technologies. Students create and develope basic designs of accessories, explore variations of shapes, materials and colors.
Aim of course Understanding fashion accessories as body extension strictly determined by function: studying human figure in motion while analyzing functions. Accessories are studied as part of the final fashion composition and style. Focuse on all aspects of trends but developing personal concept of design in completing all components of fashion collection.
