Subject content Definition of terms of human resource management. Objectives of human resource management and specialities in textiles. Holders, principles and elements of human resource management. The Japanese concept of labour force management. New approach to human resource management. Human resources, development of philosophy of labour force and role of linear management. Socio-technical approach to workplace design in textile and fashion. Small-sized textile enterprise and speciality of human resource management. Macroeconomic environment and human resource management.
Aim of course Development of common knowledge of efficient management of a very sensitive segment of economic activities as well as of socio-psychological motivation of human resources. Specific competence related to this course includes special importance of human resource management in the textile sector.
