Subject content

The lectures teach about the knowledge and sense of the structure of an artistic work. By looking, analysing and verbal description the further sense of artistic and creative work is developed. The method of graduality teaches the student about the line as a one-dimensional element. The development of individuality in expression is enabled by research of endless possibilities of composing the values of lines, by choosing the technique and material.

Aim of course

The development of sense and feeling for linear values and ability of creating using the line.

Literature necessary for course

Different books about the artistic work, the history of art, the history of textile and clothing, folclore, nature, design.

Supplement literature

Visiting fashion shows, fairs, exhibitions, museums, textile and clothing industry.
