Study programs and quotas

At the Faculty of Textile Technology students are studying by the curriculum complies with the guidelines of the Bologna process: at the undergraduate level since the academic year 2005/2006. Basic features of the study are:

  • 9 exams annually,
  • load of students is on average 23 hours a week,
  • the program is in accordance with EU standards (the Bologna Process)
  • curricula are aligned with the new Law on Science and Higher Education.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES:

1. Textile Technology and Engineering (TTE), obtained with an indication of the following sections:

  • Textile Design and Management (TDM)
  • Textile Chemistry, Materials and Ecology (TCME)
  • Clothing Engineering (CE)
  • Industrial Textile and Clothing Design (ITCD)

2. Textile and Fashion Design (TFD),:obtained with an indication of the following sections:

  • Textile design (TD)
  • Fashion design (FD)

At the graduate level Technology students are studying by the curriculum complies with the guidelines of the Bologna process since the academic year 2008/2009.

GRADUATE STUDIES:

1. Textile Technology and Engineering (TTE) - Upon completion of this two-year study (IV semestres), the 120 ECTS credits and the title of Master engineer of textile technology and engineering (mag. ing. techn . text.) is obtained with an indication of the following sections:

  • Textile Design and Management (TDM)
  • Textile Chemistry, Materials and Ecology (TCME)
  • Clothing Engineering (CE)
  • Industrial Textile Design (ITD)
  • Industrial Clothing Design (ICD)

2. Textile and Fashion Design (TFD-G). -Upon completion of this two-year study (IV semestres), the 120 ECTS credits and the title of Master engineer of textile and fashion design (mag. ing. des. text.) is obtained with an indication of the following sections:

  • Textile Design (TD)
  • Fashion Design (FD)
  • Costume Design (CD)
  • Fashion Theory and Culture (FTC).
