Subject content
Clothing and visual communication; The concept of fashion and particularity of visual communication; Neurological and cognitive condiutions to reception of image; The concept of visual litteracy; Types of contemporary design; Media and contemporary media scape; Contexts of visual communication; Marketing, advertisign and public relations; Corporative communication; Visual identity of company; The concept of image, logo and sign, branding; Elements of visual identity; Photography and fashion design; Network communications; Lifestyles and visual communications.
Aim of course
The course examines new knowledge from entire complex of visual communications. The key intention is to the role of media in fashion design. Different and very explanatory investigations from theoretical and practical visual communications are usefull to students because they have a chance to realise own visual litteracy and analytical skills for professional outcome and job in the area of fashion design.
