Subject content

Colour and light. Psychological attributes of colour. Metamerism. Mathematical colour evaluation; tristimulus values, chromaticity diagram, CIE system. Colour difference, ISO standards. Color order systems (Munsell, NCS, CIE, RAL etc.), Marketing colour collections, 3-D colour on screen display. Use of color measurement in industrial design.

Aim of course

In technological production processes as well as in distribution of ready made garments, creating fashion collections etc., colour difference value is one of the most important indicators of quality. Instrumental colour measurement is included in all industrial production processes; processes of textile technology, design, graphics, multimedia etc.
