Subject content

Research of folclore shapes and details (colours, symbols, textures, ornaments etc.) of Croatian and world folclore heritage with the emphasize on textiles as the source of ideas in creating the modern textile.

Aim of course

The students develop the sense for valuing the Croatian and world ethno heritage and they become competent for using them in their creative work.

Literature necessary for course

Different books connected with the world and Croatian folclore heritage.

Supplement literature

Visiting galleries, museums and exhibitions, folclore manifestations, ethno villages etc.
