Kratki sažetak:

The collaborative project of the applicant GALKO d.o.o. and partners, SPIN consortium entitled "Multifunctional connectivity of personal protective equipment for health protection and increased functionality", aims to develop an innovative smart protective jacket and belt pouch. These products will revolutionize personal protective equipment by integrating sensors, microcontroller systems and communication technology to monitor vital parameters, environmental conditions and enable timely warnings of hazards.

During the industrial research phase, product development concepts will be developed, including the design of integrated systems for discrete measurement and communication. Extensive laboratory testing of key components and research on the optimal integration of sensors, microcontrollers and communication modules will be conducted. The results of this phase will be functional laboratory prototypes of a smart jacket and a bag with defined connectivity systems.

The experimental development phase is focused on the creation of marketable prototypes and the validation of the technological process. Prototypes will be tested in conditions that simulate real use, including use in emergency services. The equipment will be adapted to the requirements of resistance, ergonomics and durability, and the results of the project will be protected by registration of innovations.

The final products of the project – a smart jacket and a belt pouch – will be fully developed, tested and ready for commercialization, representing a significant innovation in the global market. The project combines the partners' existing knowledge with key breakthroughs in the field of research and development of multifunctional protective equipment, with the aim of contributing to safety, health and technological excellence.
