 Area of special research interest

  • Her academic work focuses on investigating the connections between the history of clothing and the socio-cultural representation of clothing in visual sources such as painting, graphics and photography. She is concerned with the historical use of fashion and the development of marginal clothing discourses in particular stylistic periods. She is the author of the first book on the history of fashion in Croatia, more precisely in Zagreb at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (2012).
