Subject content
Lectures: Plastic anatomy of human body as the basis for making clothing design. Human figure is drawn in grid 1:9 extended on the basis of anthropological measurements. Exercises: drawing grids on the board of extended male and female figure, in front, behind and sideways what is the basis for drawing clothing. The child's body is drawn in relation to growth and development as it constantly changes, grows and reaches maturity in all functions. The child has specific body proportions depending on age (newborn and baby, two-year child, six-year child, twelve-year child). Besides the static posture of the fashionable male, female and children's figure, a clothed fashionable figure is drawn on the move.
Aim of course
Students are qualified to draw clothing based on the knowledge of the anatomy of human body and fashionable extended figure. Clothing design is a sketch that contains details and itegrity, unity of artistic elements in the item of clothing. The children's wear is designed according to age and is haronized with the requirements of game movements. Clothing cut shall be harmonized with age and game movments, must not hamper movements. Fashionable figure on the move makes it possible to get a more natural and aesthetically attractive clothing design because it fits depending on body movements and creates a more plastic appearance.
