Doctoral dissertation/PhD thesis

Postgraduate university scientific study for obtaining a doctoral degree is completed by passing all the enrolled exams and with the preparation and public defense of the dissertation.

The doctoral student must earn at least 110 ECTS credits before thesis defense, on the basis of:

• passing all 8 courses (2 mandatory, 5 elective courses and 1 general elective course)
• completing 3 project tasks and
• publishing research papers in the field of the research, of which at least one internationally peer-reviewed scientific work thematically related to his doctoral research has been published or accepted for publication (of which the doctoral candidate is the sole or one of the main authors with a maximum of three authors per paper). The doctoral student must earn at least 62 ECTS credits.
