Project tasks

In semesters III, IV and V, doctoral students apply for Project Tasks that teachers propose in the field of current scientific research work at the beginning of the academic year.

According to his/her own interest, the doctoral student may, in agreement with the mentor/study advisor or teacher, propose a topic for the Project Task that is not offered in the list of topics. The topic can also be related to preliminary research of the doctoral thesis.

In cooperation with the head, the doctoral student applies for the Project Task (Project Task Application form) to the Doctoral Study Council at the beginning of semesters III, IV and V. Upon the accepted Project Task application, the doctoral student conducts research and completes the writing of the Project Task in the current semester. The Project Task has to be written in accordance with the rules of writing a scientific research paper (review, original scientific), where the included chapters depend on the type of work. Literature citations need to be aligned with the Harvard or Vancouver system/ style/ rules. The contribution of the covered topic of the Project Task is confirmed by the head by virtue of a Statement (Statement of the head of the Project Task form) which is attached to the completed Project Task, which the doctoral student refers to the Doctoral Study Council for acceptance. After the Project Task is accepted, according to the decision of the Doctoral Study Council, the head enters the grade.
