Electronic Yarn Tension Meter
Manufacturer and model:
Schmidt, Electronic Tension Meter, KXE-50K
Location:
Department of Textile Design and Management
Contact persons:
Assist. Prof. Snježana Brnada, PhD
Assoc. Prof. Ivana Schwarz, PhD
Application:
The warp tension measuring device is designed for measuring tension during weaving. Its unique sensor configuration enables two cylindrical rollers, each 25 mm wide, to capture two groups of yarns, one on each side of the sensor. This way, the sensor measures the tension of a 50 mm wide bundle of warp yarns during the weaving process. Stored data can be analyzed using the Tension Inspect software.
Technical features:
- Measurement range from 0 – 50.00 daN
- Static or dynamic measurement capability
- Sensor unit and display with analog output
- Software support (Tension Inspect)
