Temperature Distribution Measurement Instrument

Manufacturer and model:

Thermal Camera, TESTO 872

Location:

Department of Textile Design and Management

Contact persons:

Assist. Prof. Snježana Brnada, PhD
Assoc. Prof. Ivana Schwarz, PhD

Application:

A professional digital thermographic camera with a laser marker and temperature difference recognition accuracy as low as 0.06°C is used to produce precise thermographic images. The camera utilizes infrared radiation to display temperature differences. When analyzing larger surfaces of textile or other materials, the infrared camera displays temperatures directly on the image, recording the temperature distribution across the surface, with different temperature values represented by various colors on the temperature scale. This allows for the identification of specific areas or multiple areas and their partial analysis.
