Subject content

Classification of fancy yarns. Structure and properties of fancy yarns. Spiral, boucle, loop yarns. Fancy knotted yarns. Slub yarns. Chenile yarns. Methods of manufacturing fancy yarns. Fancy yarn quality.

Aim of course

The student is familiarized with types, methods and techniques of manufacturing, and with the application of fancy yarns.
