Sensor characteristics; Mechanical sensors; reed sensors (magnetic); Inductive sensors; capacitive sensors; ultrasonic sensors; Optical sensors; Temperature measurement; Position sensors; speed sensors; Force sensors; pressure sensors; Tactile sensors; slip sensors; Vision sensors; Flow sensors; Actuators; cylinders and fluid muscle; Application of sensors on grippers; Level measurement; Measurement of humidity (moisture); Mini, micro and nano sensors
AIM OF COURSE
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the most commonly used sensors and actuators used in machines. Furthermore, the student will acquire basic knowledge of sensors, and their application in mechatronics.
