Subject content

Development of clothing technology and engineering. Characteristics of CIM concept in clothing industry. Role of technical preparation in technological processes of clothing production. Relationship between technological preparation and production process. Organization of making technology documentation for technical preparation. Relationship between technical preparation and construction, technological and operating preparation. Technology analysis. Plans of technological operations and plans of technological processes. Analysis and selection of production lines. Optimization of equipment arrangement. Engineering design of production lines.

Aim of course

Familiarization with specific characteristics of the development of clothing engineering. Characteristics of CIM concept and computer application in clothing industry. Competitiveness of technical preparation in conducting and directing production processes of clothing production. Contemporary technology documentation using computers. Significance of mutual relationship of preparation within the technical preparation.
