Studio for engineering design and design of yarns, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, technical textiles and nonwovens
Modernly equipped Studio is intended for designing yarns, woven fabrics, knitted, technical textiles and nonwovens. It is equipped with machines for the production of yarn (ring spinning machine, yarn winding machine, machine with hollow spindle), knitting machines (sock machine, flat knitting machines) and computers for the design of various textile structures.
The studio is intended for teaching lectures and exercises from a series of courses, whose lecturers are members of the Department of Textile Design and Management, as well as the preparation of final and graduate thesis by TTF students.
The studio is used by students from different fields and modules at all levels of study attending TTF, as well as students from different European countries who come to TTF within the Erasmus + program.
The capacities of Studio are also used in the scientific research work of the Department's members as well as the PhD students.
