Subject content
An overview of art history and its development since first artistic expressions, i.e. prehistory, throughout the first historical civilizations, the Middle Ages, renaissance, mannerism, baroque, classicism, till the forerunners of modern art at the end of the 19th century.
Aim of course
Study of transformations of artistic expression, noting and determining stylistic markers of a certain period, connecting these markers with events in all aspects of social life. Creating foundations for the understanding of processes which lead to the phenomenon of modern art, as well as foundations for grasping the transformations of the clothing phenomenon within the context of history.
