Subject content
Division and labeling of yarn. Raw materials for yarn production. Processes and techniques of yarn production. Design parameters of different yarn structures. Twist of yarn. Structure and properties of ring, rotor, wrapped, aerodynamic, and friction yarns. Fancy yarns. Yarns with new properties. Properties of yarn.
Aim of course
The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with the basic processes of yarn production from natural and synthetic fibers and their mixtures. The student further learns about the technical and technological parameters that ensure the production of quality yarn for weaving, knitting, or other purposes. Additionally, the student is introduced to the properties of yarn and their analysis.
