Application:

The EKA – electrokinetic analyser is used for measuring zeta-potential (ξ[mV]). The operating principle of the EKA is the streaming current/streaming potential. It can work with three measuring cells (cylindrical, rectangular, stamp-cell), and it measures the potential of granules, powder, fibres, yarns, fabrics and other flat surfaces.

Technical characteristics:

  • Measuring range of streaming potential/current: 0 – 2000 mV/nA
  • Electrolyte solution temperature: 15 – 40 °C
