Application:

Measurement of spectral values of coloured and uncoloured surfaces and calculation of values of spectral characteristics (remission) (whiteness; for coloured surfaces, parameters: lightness (L *), chrome (C *) and hue (H *) of colours and total colour differences (DE)) according to CIELAB and/or CMC systems for calculating the total colour difference.The Datacolor 850 includes an option to measure the transmission properties of transparent and translucent samples. It can measure the transmittance of transparent solid and liquid samples, as well as the “total” and “diffuse” transmittance of translucent samples.
