Application:
Thermogravimetric analysis allows the monitoring of the changes of the sample mass as the temperature increases. The sample is heated in a pan, so that the temperature evenly increases at the given rate, while the mass changes are recorded on the scale.
Technical characteristics:
- Temperature range: 50 – 950°C
- Max. sample mass: 5-10 mg
- Sample pans: platinum or ceramic
- Sample atmosphere: nitrogen, air, oxygen
