Application:
The device is used for precise cutting of longitudinal or cross sections of samples impregnated in paraffin, resin or plastic blocks. It is applicable for sample preparation in biological, medical or industrial areas. It is manufactured according to the standards of class 4/ MedGV.
Technical characteristics:
- Section thickness adjustment from 0.5 µm to 60 µm
- Horizontal stroke 40 mm and vertical stroke 70 mm
- Maximum specimen size 55x55 mm
- Knife is movable and angle adjustable whilst retaining the basic adjustment
- Reduced injury danger through a knife guard which locks when in position.
