Application:

Scanning transmission electron microscopy detector (STEM) is an adapter that provides a complementary method for image acquisition of the transmitted electrons. STEM detector offers great opportunity to acquire transmission electron microscopy (TEM) comparable images with all advantages of the scanning electron microscope.

Technical characteristics:

  • Attached directly to the sample stage
  • Resolution: 0.8 nm
  • A standard TEM grid (diameter 3.05 mm)
  • Consists of three semiconductor sensors for bright field and dark field imaging
  • Ability to mix imaging signals
  • Suitable for imaging sections thinner than 100 nm
