Expected learning outcomes
Upon successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:
• explain statistical procedures
• apply methods for solving combinatorial problems
• connect different concepts and results
• use the MS Excel program
• analyze and solve problems related to acquired concepts
• apply descriptive statistics, probability, basic probability distributions
parameter estimation, and hypothesis testing
Subject content
Combinatorics. Probability. Descriptive Statistics. Probability Distributions. Parameter Estimation. Hypothesis Testing.
Aim of course
Students will acquire basic knowledge of descriptive statistics, probability, basic probability distributions, parameter estimation, and hypothesis testing, as well as their application in MS Excel.
