Subject content
The course program consists of various kinesiological activities divided into four types of program: Basic regular, Kinesitherapy, Elective and Program for student athletes. Activities within the Basic regular program are: polistructural movements (sports games - basketball, futsal, valleyball, handball; table tennis), monostructural movements (athletics, walking tours, orientation movement in nature, rollerblading), complex movements (combative sports; streching; pilates) and basic kinesiological transformation (fitness programs - gym workout, crossfit training, functional training,...). Kinesitherapy program is intended for students with minor health problems who workout under a special, individually made and customized programe. Elective program consists of activities wich students elect based on their personal interest and each activity requires a certain student fee (ice skating; activities within the student assosiation SUBOS - boxing, taekwondo, karate, insanity, zumba, aikido,...). Programe for student athletes is intended for active and former student athletes who engage into sport sections, teams (futsal, basketball, valleyball and handball) under which they train and perform at University contests.
Aim of course
The objective of Physical education is to qualify students for the use of theoretical and motor knowledge which enable independent physical workout with the purpose of general health improvement and achieving better quality of living. At the same time, the goal is also to satisfy biological, psychological and social needs for movement as the expression of satisfying certain needs which increase adaptive and creative abilities in modern living and working conditions. Also, one of the main goals is to motivate, encourage and enable students for everyday workout, active use of free time and to promote healthy ways of life as irreplacable factors of all human activities.
