Subject content

1)  General theory of system and economy
2)  Textile and fashion industry in the system of economic activities.
3)  Measures of economic policy and macroeconomic control of textile and
      fashion industry in Croatia. Process of economic policy. Instruments and
      measures of economic policy.
4)  Economic development and models of growth.
5)  Theory of economic cycles, employment, textile and fashion industry.

Aim of course

The course will provide general knowledge of macroeconomic growth, development and position of textile and fashion industry in the economic development of Croatia. Special knowledge necessary for better positioning of the textile industry in the system of the manufacturing industries. Input-output complementarity with other branches of the national economy of Croatia. Comparative advantages of the textile industry compared with other textile industries of Europe and the world. Position of the inland textile and fashion industry and evaluaiton of its development possibilities.
